About

DAC-logoThe Danish American Center (DAC) supports and fosters Danish culture through education and celebration of traditions, customs and history. A non-profit organization founded by Danish immigrants, the DAC is open for membership to anyone interested in Danish heritage and culture. Nestled on 1.5 park-like acres overlooking the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, The Danish American Center is a piece of living local architecture where three phases of the building completed over the last century work seamlessly together to provide a hub for learning, cultural events, social outreach activities, and retreats in the Upper Midwest.

  1. Hello, My editor from the Longfellow Messenger asked me to write an article on the DAC for this month’s issue. Whom should I arrange an interview with please? I hope it’s alright to pop in to Danish Folk Dancing either tonight or next Friday, as well as the aebleskiver breakfast a week from Sunday to take a few photos? I’ll look forward to hearing back from you shortly. Tusind tak! Margie
